On October 1st
2003 Lou Lou joined our household to become Rodney's wife. She had
come to us from the Peggy Henderson Sanctuary. She had been found
under a car on someone's driveways suffering badly from an abcess.
Following the loving care of Gilly and her mum at the Sanctuary,
and 4 dates between Rodney and Lou Lou, Lou came to join us.
On Thursday 17th June 2004 whilst Richard and I were in Porto,
Karen rang to say that Lou Lou had been off her food and that she
had taken Lou Lou and Rodney to the vet. 24 hours later there was
no improvement and the Vet had even taken Lou Lou home with him.
On Saturday 19th June 2004, before the Vet was going to operate
Lou Lou died.
We are fortunate that we will always remember her for her loving
ways and cheeky attitude. I hope that these pictures below portray
the cheeky lovable Lou Lou as we perfectly remember her. |
